The Lot.714 Denim Jacket Side Panel is Taiga Takahashi’s tribute to classic denim jackets, refined through subtle updates and distressed finishing. Its look comes from careful washing treatments that echo the feel of deadstock denim broken in over years, soft against the body while still carrying the weight and presence of selvedge cloth. In its construction, it nods to vintage necessity—historically, selvedge fabric required back seams in larger sizes due to limited fabric width, but this version modestly incorporates side seams instead. The fit is relaxed and designed for layering, true to the functional needs of the originals but cut for today. Hardware details include custom-engraved iron buttons and new copper buckles, the same used on Lot.701 and Lot.702, adding durability and continuity across the collection. Finished with a mud-dyed leather patch from Amami Oshima, each jacket carries heritage and natural variance, designed to grow more personal with wear.
